About the firm
A specialist firm built around one engineering discipline since 2011.
G Universe S.A.R.L. is a specialist acoustical engineering and consulting firm founded in 2011 and headquartered in Jal el Dib, Mount Lebanon. Acoustics is the firm's entire practice. Since founding, we have delivered noise and vibration engineering on more than 40 projects across Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, Yemen, Cote d'Ivoire, and the Democratic Republic of Congo: five-star hotels, medical centers, universities, financial districts, ministries, power plants, and defense-related test facilities. Our first Saudi project was delivered in 2011, the year the firm was founded; the most recent, the Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah and ACRAK Resort, were delivered in 2024-25 and 2025.
The firm exists because acoustic performance fails in the gaps between disciplines: between the architect's partition and the contractor's junction, between the MEP schedule and the operator's noise criterion, between the specification and the built result. G Universe closes those gaps by carrying one responsibility across the whole project: the first survey, the simulation, the specification, and the final measurement.

Independence. G Universe sells no products and holds no supplier agency. We specify performance, not brands, so our recommendation is not affected by who supplies the material or wins the package.
Who leads the work
Leadership
Paul Ghanimeh
Managing Partner
Paul Ghanimeh leads the practice. His acoustical engineering experience spans hospitality, aviation, industrial, healthcare, and commercial work across the Middle East and Africa, combining field measurement expertise with advanced computational modeling.
Senior engineers lead every project from the first site visit to the final commissioning report. The firm's flagship delivery, the Waldorf Astoria Al Madinah, was led under this model.
Coverage
Geographic footprint
We mobilize survey and commissioning teams to sites across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Every country below links to its delivered work.
Method
How we work
Every engagement follows four phases, each ending in a deliverable. Baseline and assessment: site surveys, regulatory review, and design targets. Predictive modeling: 3D noise models that quantify risk and compare mitigations before procurement.
Design and specification: acoustic specifications for facades, partitions, floors, doors, and MEP plant, coordinated with the design team. Testing and commissioning: in-situ measurement against the design targets, reported formally for clients and authorities. We use simulation as a decision-making platform, comparing design options before implementation, not as a presentation tool.
Standards
Standards framework
Codes and standards
We work to ISO 9613-2, BS 8233:2014, the BS EN ISO 10140 series, BS EN ISO 717-1 and 717-2, BS EN ISO 3382-2, ASHRAE HVAC Handbook Chapter 48, CIBSE Guide B5, ISO 10816 and ISO 20816, BS 6472, ISO 1999, the WHO Environmental Noise Guidelines 2018, and LEED and BREEAM acoustic credit requirements.
Instrumentation
Calibrated Class 1 sound level meters, multi-channel FFT analyzers, accelerometers and laser Doppler vibrometers, reverberation time systems, tapping machines, and dodecahedron loudspeakers. Every test report states the method, the instrument, and its calibration status.
